What Sam’s About

Sam is the primary provider at Samantha Forbes Counselling. She believes in actively promoting social justice in our global community while supporting individuals in their personal struggles.

When she’s not busy saving relationships, saving animals, or saving our planet, Sam is working with the power of Music and Dance, using these to connect oppressed communities with each other or with those that can help. She once led a dance routine of (mostly) straight co-workers down Oxford street in the Mardi Gras parade. You can imagine how difficult it was to keep straight people on the beat. She didn’t miss a beat and kept the party going despite all the left feet. During Gay Pride she wears T-shirts to work stating queer alliance just to see if she can start interesting conversations with straight people or queer allies.

You can find her dog-walking near her home in Sydney. Probably listening to the city sounds or chatting with friends. Her dog is bigger than she is. I once heard a passerby ask if it was a pony.
