Conversations & Stories from Psychos in the Field
COUCHED is a YOUTUBE production built by queer psychotherapists, for our queer or questioning, or just curious community. And we’ve got a little something for our straight allies, or our ally-questioning folks as well, because we believe changing hearts and minds is some of our most important work.
You can find us sharing conversations about what it’s like to be queer, what it’s like to work as Out & Proud mental health therapists, what our experience has been living and working in the queer community, and how we can all do better.
Why would we do this? We counter with How Has This Not Happened Already?! Seven Wildly Passionate, Opinionated Queer Psychotherapists in one room, discussing art, music, and current events and Queer stories? We think it’s a train wreck waiting to happen, and we’re pretty sure it needs spectators.

Brilliant Project Manager. Executes without direction, when nobody asked. Reads at a 12th grade level.

Book Worm, Fashionista, Much too Agreeable, even when he knows we’re ridiculous.

President of the Imposters don’t get Imposter Syndrome-Sydney Chapter. Vision Seeker. He basically gave up any hope when he joined this project.

Social Justice Advocate, and is basically bored of your excuses. Dog lover. Is a fan of pony play.

Singer. Performer. Basically the only person on this panel with any talent. She laughs at us, not with us.

Musician, AV nerd, Video Production. Captain of chicken-picken gee-tar industry. He’s not showing his face in case it all goes pear shaped. He expects it will.

The Youtube Channel where Queer Mental Health Therapists react to music or videos you request, offering a queer point of view or information you maybe didn’t know before.
HOW IT’S GOING:
The Youtube Channel where Queer Mental Health Therapists are reacting to anything including your outfit, or music or videos they chose themselves, possibly getting kicked off the Youtube site for constantly referring to it as “The Youtubes.”
