Modalities: Integrative therapist, trained in Somatic Experiencing, drawing from progressive modalities including Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal theory, Attachment theory, informed by current neuroscience and inspired by Eastern wisdom.

Jo is a trauma specialist who has worked in a range of services, including the Royal Commission into Childhood Sexual Abuse and in national Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault organisations. With a commitment to human rights, she continues to work with people impacted by the criminal justice system.

Jo enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, across a wide range of issues. She is fascinated by people and their stories, and by the transformation that can occur within a safe and attuned connection.

What Jo’s About

Jo is a highly trained, warm, intuitive, body-focused therapist with over ten years of experience in counselling. With degrees in psychology and physics, she provides specialist therapy to adolescents and adults in the CBD.

Outside of the therapy room, Jo is a knitter, a reader, an ocean swimmer, a mother and a meditator.
